SihnonPerhaps one of the most beautiful planets in the Core world systems, it is little surprise that this should be the home of the Companion Guild headquarters, as well a large number of the religious centers and monasteries. Almost every guild, including the Bounty Hunter's and Merchants Guild have a central headquarter on the world and it is considered to be one of the main centers of communication and elbow-rubbing of the 'verse. |

ArielKnown best for its excellent medical facilities, all of the cutting edge equipment, procedures and doctors cluster in this central world. Still, all things cultural, especially cuisine, are lush and plentiful on this world, though it does have a restricted landing zone meaning only those with legit business will be allowed to land. |

BernadetteThe last of the Exodus ships named Prometheus stands as a monument to the Alliance and human history in the capital city of New Paris, acting as a museum and historical database for the core worlds. It is only appropriate then, that Bernadette serves as the jumping off point for a majority of those that seek to colonize and settle other worlds. Still, not all is shiny beneath the surface, as an underground slaver trade has been in existence for some time, supplying bodies for the mining and building that goes with settling and terraforming. |

LondiniumMost similar to the Earth That Was, this world was home to many of the European and American continental survivors of the Exodus. While the planet hosts top of the line architecture, the world is crafted to appear as if it was of stone and marble, as if a sliver of the 1800's of Earth That Was had been captured and made manifest. Londinium also has the prestige of being the host to Parliament and the Senate of the Alliance. |

OsirisOsiris is host to the Alliance's judicial branch; the High Court resides in the Capital City, and the best of the law firms and universities exist on this world. The Blue Sun Corporation headquarters are also located on this world, though branches of the Corporation are scattered throughout the 'verse - and perhaps beyond. |

... Everywhere ElseThere are a couple dozen planets and a handful of systems in the Core World, and that the Alliance control firmly and easily (for the most part). Those listed above are the primary ones, but there are any number of other planets where play might take place, and this is where to do those scenes. Please try and specify what world, and some general set for anyone else joining or reading your thread. |

BeaumondeKnown for being the manufacturing hub of the system, its cities are encircled by factories making everything from ceramics to armor plating to computer and electronic equipment. While the planet is hazy and it's becoming more difficult to achieve anything agricultural on, it is a bustling business and production world. The capital of new Dunsmuir is the diamond of the planet, and is flooded with flower paths and gardens. |

Hera Considered the breadbasket of the verse, the planet is the agricultural center of the system and beyond. It is more infamously known, however, as being the home to the last battle of the War of Unification in the valley of Serenity. Half a million graves surround the valley, most unmarked, and the ground there is still charred and broken. |

NewhallOne of the more recently terraformed planets towards the Central Planets, water covers most of the planet and is its main resource and commodity. Small island chains or floating stations provide homes for those that live on the world. Fishing and water purification and shipping are the primary source of income for those that work Newhall. |

PaquinKnown as the 'gypsy planet' to most, Paquin is known for its festivals, sideshows, carnivals, galleries and theaters. The Grand Opera House is the main feature, but there is almost every sort of entertainment here that can be imagined and is considered the artistic center of the Border Worlds. Those that meander without caution can find themselves light a few credits, or a limb or two however, when night falls or if caught unawares by those that run the carnivals and freak shows. |

PersephioneAs various in environment as the Earth That Was, it's social circles lean towards a traditional aristocratic class, with a cluster of middle class, a larger number of the needy, and a barely concealed turmoil of the underworld beneath the surface. Eavesdown Docks is a haven for the seedy types, and if someone is looking for something they shouldn't, it's a good place to start, and not far from there can be found the racing tracks where Noble Lords and criminal lords rub elbows. |

SantoOnce the Paradise planet of the 'verse, the beatific skies, weather and temperament of the planet that had made it the ideal resort and spa home lost their charm during the war and much of the world was forced to find other ways to draw customers, or to piece meal off their luxury affects merely to survive. Gambling, prostitution, drinking and fights (both legal and not) make up the majority of the world's draw these days. |

VerbanaA heavily forested world, the prime resource here are the orchard plantations that cover a large portion of its territory. What was an attempt to rejuvenate the planet's economy after the war failed, when an Alliance supply factory was bombed and sent the world spiraling instantly into an economic depression and created an air of paranoia and suspicion that lingers still. While the Alliance has pledged to help the world recover, little to no help has trickled down through the Parliamentary red tape and the world sits on the brink of a disaster. |

AthensDon't like the weather? Wait five minutes. Athens is infamous for its constantly changing weather systems, though fortunately they remain in the relative 'median'. Marble, and some agricultural claims create the profit margins for the world. One of the few rim worlds to fully support Unification, the world changed hands no less than a half a dozen times during the war until the Alliance bombed central cities to try and force the Browncoats to evacuate. The bombing sites have recently been opened for legal salvage operations, which has drawn a large number of past residents back to try and reclaim any possessions that survived, and the unsavory sort that snatch any opportunity to turn a profit. |

BeylixAgriculture is only the tip of the iceberg of Beylix's claim to fame; rather, it is known most prominently as the garbage dump of the system. Scrap yards and refuse centers are run by the United Reclamation firm, which works in unison with the Alliance to license junk and scrap dealers all over the 'verse to bring one man's junk to become another corporation's treasure. |

EzraKnown to the general public as just another agriculture and farming world, those with any knowledge of the underworld know that this world is something else entirely. During the war, the planet became the stronghold of the infamous Adelai Niska; rumor has it now that his criminal empire has passed on to the heretofore unknown Alexis Niska after the unconfirmed assassination of the crime lord. |

GreenleafPredominantly a tropical jungle world, the planet has been a source of pharmaceutical components, both legal and of the black market variety, for decades. Despite the corporations and Alliance's attempts to genetically tag the goods grown on the world, there is still a great deal of supply being smuggled off the world and thus it is that Greenleaf is the most heavily secured planets in the Rim. |

HavenHome to a tight cluster of independent miners, the moon of Haven have not yet hit pay dirt, but are loathe to give up their claim to the territory nonetheless despite recent attempts by the Corone Consortium to spy on the business dealings and find out what lies beneath the surface of the world. They were sent back worse for wear and resources were pooled to shore up defenses on the moon. |

Higgins' MoonHome to the company town of Canton (and the legend of the Hero of Canton), the world is predominantly recognized as the 'verse-wide supplier of all things mud and ceramic related. Over two thousand resident 'mudders' work for their magistrate Higgins, though not one of them will speak well of the man. His son, however, has recently begun making a habit of standing up against his father's tyranny. |

LilacAlmost entirely a desert world, there are only a handful of places on the planet that actually supports crop life, leaving many of the settlers in poverty, with a much smaller number striking proverbial gold. Lilac has the unfortunate claim of also being ever closer to what is the expanding territory of the so-called Reavers. |

ReginaRich in minerals from the get go, Regina has become one of the most populated and popular mining worlds in the 'verse. The Corone Mining Conosrtium owns most of the vein-rich properties on the planet, and it is rumored that they have little qualms with doing whatever it takes to push out the smaller corporations or privately owned claims. The down-side to the planet is the deteriorating disease that every miner will eventually contract, that of Bowden's Malady, though the Alliance sends out semi-regular shipments of the drug necessary to ease the symptoms of said disease. |

ShadowOnce an entirely rural world, known for its rich agricultural properties and animal husbandry, the world is know little more than charred rubble. One of the first to stand against the Alliance and vouch for Independence, it was one of the first to suffer harshly at the hands of the Alliance war machine. There is nothing left on this world, and it is said to be entirely uninhabited, and uninhabitable. |

TriumphThe people of this tiny moon do all that they can to keep themselves away from the influences of the 'verse and the technology that goes with it. They live much as the Amish of the Earth-That-Was did, and their women are raised in a convent called the Maiden House and bartered in trade when the settlement needs something from the 'verse that they cannot provide for themselves. |

St. AlbansA frigid and hard world, the surface of St. Albans is populated by almost nothing other than mountain regions. The weather is bitter cold and it snows pretty much year round, though those that are hardy or stubborn enough can make a good living mining the rich deposits on world. The people that do survive the climate form a tight knitted community that cannot be broken and that does not take kindly to insult or injury of any of its members. |

Just Passing ThroughIn the depths of space, there is nothing to keep you sane except the other souls aboard your ship and the knowledge that your hull will stave off the cold and breathless blackness. Please be sure to include what ship you are traveling on and some indication of where you're coming from and headed to in your opening sets in this board. |

The BridgeThe flight deck, bridge, command central and communications center of the ship, this is the brain and nervous system of Serenity. Wash is most often in the pilot's seat, though any number of other crew may be wandering through given the time of day or night. |

The InfirmaryNow well equipped and stocked, the infirmary sees a lot of traffic through the ship's misadventures. Clean, and well kept, it can generally hold one or two patients, and while its equipment is not state of the art, it and Simon can handle most of the trauma that is sustained in the course of the crew's run-ins. |

The PassagewaysCatwalks and hallways spiderweb through the Firefly-class ship, and more often than not conversations or arguments are held in passing down these corridors. |

The GalleyKitchen and dining room in one, the galley serves as an all purpose gathering place for meals, snacks or just a few moments of peace and quiet in between. Kaylee's touch can be seen in the soft yellow paint and the green ivy that trails around the room and cupboards. |

The Crew DormsThe hall leading from the cargo bay to the bridge is evenly intersected with panels that push open to ladders beneath which the crew quarters exist. Kaylee's is the easiest to find, but each crew member has their own to do with as they please with the exception of Zoe and Wash that share what was originally designated the Captain's quarters. |

The Cargo BayA latticework of catwalks and stairs overlook and surround the massive cargo bay, and a number of secret compartments litter its walls and floor. A mule and varying numbers of crates, bags, boxes or pens take up the main area, though when left mostly empty, is often used for games and the occasional rough housing. |

The Engine RoomIf the Bridge is the brain of Serenity, the engine room and its' mechanic are the heart of the ship. The sound of clanking and humming, the scent of oil and grease and metal, and a hammock slung by the entrance seem to fill the room more than the engine itself. Generally, the engine is well tended, if eternally in need of a replacement part. |

The ShuttlesOne of the shuttles is kept free for general use as the crew needs, but the other is (supposed to be) considered private, and is rented to the companion Inara as her personal quarters and transportation. |
